The International Organisation for Reconstruction of Ukraine (IOR-U) project has been established to facilitate UK-Ukraine connections that can support the development of the structures, policies and programmes that can support Ukraine in its post-conflict recovery and reconstruction. The National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine (NSDCU) is the Ukrainian partner of the IOR-U.
It builds upon existing close relationship between the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine (NSDCU) and the Institute of Strategic Risk Management (ISRM), whose Executive Director Dr David Rubens is also the Executive Director of IOR.
The programme will support Ukraine’s progress and prosperity as well as working to develop the capacity to move from EU Candidate State to full Membership status.
Since that time, it has established itself as a global thought-and action-leadership think-tank, receiving support from government agencies, NGO’s global corporations and academic and policy institutions around the world.
It has 32 International Chapters, each one autonomous in its activities but part of the wider global network.
It had hosted multiple webinars, workshops, symposia and conferences, featuring leading authorities from multiple sectors.
The ISRM has been chosen as the partner of choice for major global programmes, bringing a level of academic insight, practitioner experience and policy awareness, combined with a ‘Can Do’ attitude that ensures that all its programmes are objective-orientated, at the same time maintaining a focus on the best outcomes for all of its partners and supporting organisations.
